Editing continues on LOVE AND COOKING and LIKE A SAKURA, Editing is completed on Любовь в тумане (Love In the Fog) and A PART OF IT

LE PETIT NUAGE (The Little Cloud)  plays at the prestigious FILMKUNSTFEST in Schwerin, Germany.

LAGO DI SETA (Silk Lake) plays at the WHITEHEAD INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL.

Пушкинские Горы (Pushkin Hills)  is slated for production in St. Petersburg, Russia.  

LAGO DI SETA has been invited to screen in Official Selection at the PORDENONE SILENT FILM FESTIVAL.  The largest silent festival in the world, this thirty-two year tradition in Pordenone, Italy boasts standing-room only attendance during many of the festival screenings at the one-thousand seat Teatro Giuseppe Verdi.  Attended by film scholars, archivists and film lovers from all over the world, we are very pleased to be a part of the festival again this year.

Production completed on LIKE A SAKURA in Kyoto and Osaka, Japan.


LE PETIT NUAGE (The Little Cloud) has been invited to NEWPORT BEACH FILM FESTIVAL to screen in the EUROPEAN SHOWCASE in the FRENCH SPOTLIGHT with the film UN PLAN PARFAIT (Fly Me to the Moon) and the MINNEAPOLIS ST. PAUL INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL.


The DURANGO FILM FESTIVAL in Colorado has invited LE PETIT NUAGE (The Little Cloud) to screen in Official Selection on opening night and two other nights during the festival.

The ANGKOR WAT INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL has invited LE PETIT NUAGE (The Little Cloud) to screen in Official Selection at the festival in Cambodia.


The WHITEHEAD INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL in Claremont, CA has invited LE PETIT NUAGE (The Little Cloud) to screen in Official Selection on opening night of the festival.


The MONTREAL WORLD FILM FESTIVAL has invited LE PETIT NUAGE to be part of the Official Selection in the World Competition.

The PORDENONE SILENT FILM FESTIVAL has invited LE PETIT NUAGE to screen in Official Selection.  This thirty-one year tradition in Pordenone, Italy is the largest silent film festival in the world and during the festival the one-thousand seat Teatro Giuseppe Verdi is routinely filled to capacity by film scholars and archivists from all over the world.

LAGO DI SETA (Silk Lake) is completed in Milan and Lake Como, Italy.

The music is near completion for LAGO DI SETA (Silk Lake) and the film will be completed very soon.

We are in pre-production for LIKE A SAKURA, the third, Japanese segment of our Feature Film anthology, 7 SHORT FILMS ABOUT LOVE.  We will be blogging live updates from Japan:  02films.tumblr.com

Our recording session of the original music composed by Robert Casal and Renée George for LAGO DI SETA (Silk Lake), the Italian film in our feature-film anthology of 7 SHORT FILMS ABOUT LOVE was a resounding success!  Featured were  Luigi Magistrelli (Italy) a Clarinet player from Milan who also taught a master class at UCLA while he was in town, along with Gautier Capuçon (France) on cello - who was performing at Walt Disney Concert Hall and who also performed on the soundtrack for the first film, LE PETIT NUAGE (The Little Cloud).  

LAGO DI SETA (Silk Lake) just wrapped principal photography in Lake Como and Milan, Italy, and is currently in post-production with Michael Mastre editing. The original score is being created by Robert Casal and Renée George. The cast includes FRANCESCA LETO, CRISTINA AUBRY and VINCENZO FESI. Vincenzo is also a phenomenal dancer who he produces the incredible SWING CRASH FESTIVAL annually in Lake Como. For more information visit www.swingcrashfestival.com

The next segment of 7 SHORT FILMS ABOUT LOVE will be filmed in Japan. We are also planning upcoming segments in India, Russia, Germany, and Argentina.
